November 2nd and 3rd
This annual event is held the first weekend of November. It began in rural churches as a way to tithe by giving a percentage of their harvest each year. These harvested acres became known as the Lord's Acres. Today it is a fun-filled weekend, including a Friday night dinner and dance, and a full Saturday featuring craft booths, children's activities, and a silent auction, as well as the 5K and 1 mile Fun Run. All procedes benefit Ovilla United Methodist Church and United Methodist Missions.

Trunk-or-Treat

An Ovilla United Methodist Church tradition, Trunk-or-Treat is a fun, free, family-friendly fall festival. Church members decorate their cars & trucks and pass out candy to trick-or-treaters. Carnival games, cake walk, and hay ride top off the fun. This year, Trunk-or-Treat will be held directly after the 5K & Fun Run Awards Ceremony. So put on your costume and your running shoes and join us this year!
